SIAYERA BOONE

Firestone, volleyball

Boone, a junior, led Firestone to a 4-2 record last week with wins over Parma, Garfield Heights, Kenmore-Garfield and East. She totaled 47 kills, 28 blocks, 30 digs, 58 service points and 22 aces during that stretch. Boone also had 13 kills, five aces and three blocks on Tuesday when Firestone (10-7, 6-1) defeated Ellet in a City Series match.

 

KATHERINE DAVIS

Copley, volleyball

Davis, a senior, played a pivotal role in Copley’s wins over Kent Roosevelt, Firestone and St. Vincent-St. Mary last week with 51 kills, 26 digs, 19 service points and three aces. She then totaled 13 kills and 19 digs when Copley (8-5, 5-2) beat Barberton in a Suburban League American Conference match on Tuesday.

 

ROB GRAVES

Cuyahoga Falls, football

Graves, a junior, helped host Cuyahoga Falls snap a 23-game losing streak with a 44-31 win over Brecksville on Friday. He rushed for 257 yards and four touchdowns on 32 carries, and also had three tackles. Graves scored on runs of 68, 4, 15 and 63 yards.

 

ISABELLE GUERREAU

Revere, volleyball

Guerreau, a senior, led Revere to a 6-0 record last week with victories over Triway, Tallmadge, Barberton, Cleveland Heights, Streetsboro and Maple Heights. The final three wins came at the Maple Heights Tournament, where Revere placed first. She had 93 assists (including 30 against Tallmadge), 13 service aces and 34 digs in the six matches, and then helped the Minutemen (13-2, 8-0) beat Highland on Tuesday in a Suburban League American Conference match with 22 assists and two aces.

 

ALYSSA MARTIN

Ellet, volleyball

Martin, a senior, helped Ellet (7-6, 5-2) compile a 4-1 record last week with wins over Our Lady of the Elms, Buchtel, North and Springfield. She totaled 69 kills, 41 service points, 10 aces and 19 blocks in the four victories. Included in that total were 26 kills, 12 service points, four aces and six blocks against Buchtel.
