OAKLAND: Browns starting free safety Damarious Randall will play Sunday against the Oakland Raiders with a heel injury, and Drew Stanton will serve as the No. 2 quarterback behind rookie Baker Mayfield as Tyrod Taylor sits out while dealing with a back injury and recovering from a concussion.

Randall, Taylor and backup tight end Seth DeValve were listed as questionable entering the weekend. Like Taylor, DeValve (hamstring) will be inactive Sunday. DeValve has yet to play this season.

Taylor, who made the trip to the Bay Area with the Browns, returned to practice Thursday after being cleared from the concussion he suffered Sept. 20 on "Thursday Night Football." But Taylor's back injury limited him in practices Thursday and Friday, and Stanton, who's 11-6 as an NFL starter, received the nod to be active on game day for the first time this season.

Linebacker James Burgess was ruled out Friday with the knee injury he suffered against the Jets.

The other Browns players who will be inactive are rookie wide receiver Damion Ratley, rookie cornerback Tavierre Thomas, rookie offensive lineman Austin Corbett and defensive tackle Devaroe Lawrence.

The following Raiders players will be inactive: linebacker Shilique Calhoun, defensive lineman Tank Carradine, offensive tackles T.J. Clemmings and Justin Murray, safety Karl Joseph (hamstring), receiver Brandon LaFell and running back DeAndre Washington.
