The Browns reportedly won't need to worry about containing seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Green when they visit the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
On Saturday morning, ESPN reported Green will sit out with a toe injury for the third consecutive game.
The Bengals also downgraded Green and cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick (shoulder) to doubtful to play Sunday. Both of the starters had been listed as questionable on Friday.
The Bengals have lost their past two games with Green sidelined, falling 51-14 at home to the New Orleans Saints and 24-21 to the Baltimore Ravens on the road.
With Green out, at least one player is extremely confident the Browns (3-6-1) will roll to victory against the Bengals (5-5).
"If they don’t have A.J., they’re getting their ass beat," Browns starting free safety Damarious Randall said Friday.
In eight games this season, Green has 45 catches for 687 yards and six touchdowns. In 13 career games against the Browns, he has 62 receptions for 953 yards and seven touchdowns.
