Revere 76, Parma Normandy 60

Grace Hete, Taylor Rinn and Adison Novosel provided 85 percent of the Minutemen's points in its season-opener on Saturday. Hete scored a game-high 26 points, Rinn added 25 and Novosel finished with 14. Hete scored 15 points in the second half, allowing Revere to pull away from just a three-point halftime lead.

Field 61, Ellet 23

With 20 points from Buzz Kline and 14 by Maria Sziva, Field (1-0) rolled to a nonleauge win at home.

Louisville 58, Buchtel 51

In the second-ever meeting between these two schools, Louisville used balanced scoring to improve to 2-0 at the Bulldog Battle in the Canton Memorial Field House. Erin Hahn led the Leopards with 13 points and a game-high six steals.

Kayla Gibson also finished in double figures for Louisville with 11 points. Sydney Bast, Paige Cole, Maggie Galentine and Sherilyn Mullett each scored eight points.

The Griffins were led by Javaan Rogers who poured in a game-high 18 points and had a game-best nine rebounds.

Wadsworth 57, Kenston 31

Seniors Kacie Evans and Maria Busson led Wadsworth (1-0) to a Bulldog Battle win over the Bombers (0-1). Evans led all scorers with 16 points. Busson scored 12.

Chippewa 65, Youngstown Ursuline 60

The Chipps improved to 2-0 with a win in the Chippewa Thanksgiving Classic. Carly Koncz scored 25 points for Chippewa, and the hosts held off a late Irish surge. Ursuline (0-1) outscored Chippewa 28-24 in the fourth quarter. Pitt commit Dayshanette Harris led all players with 36 points for Ursuline.
