Buchtel 82, Firestone 42

Freshman guard Leah Cheatham scored a career-high 28 points and three other Griffins reached double figures as Buchtel cruised to another City Series win on the road.

Cheatham converted 11 field goals, including two 3-pointers, en route to the game-high 28 points.

Backcourt mate Kanai Chance drilled three 3-pointers as part of her 17-point night. Dae Dae Nash added 15 points and Imani Jackson 10 more for Buchtel (6-1, 4-0).

Junior guard Jayda Wallace carried Firestone (3-4, 0-4), tallying 25 points with 12 coming from 3-point range.

 

East 50, North 40

Granya Pace and Iyana Murray combined to score 26 points to spark the Dragons to a City Series road victory.

Pace led the way with 14 points and Murray netted 12 for East (4-2, 3-1).

Bianca Snell led North (2-3, 1-3) with 16 points.

Norton 45, Ravenna 24

The Panthers went on the road and used four pins to help take down Ravenna in a PTC-Metro match.

Recording pins for Norton were Jayden Morr (120), Brady Postek (126), Michael Kelley (132) and Jakob Hopkins (195).
