The University of Akron's 400-freestyle relay team set school and conference records to highlight the final day of the Shamrock Invitational at the University of Notre Dame.

Freshmen Sarah Watson and Sofia Henell teamed with seniors Ragen Engel and Sadie Fazekas to take first place in 3:17.02. The record-breaking time barely edged the previous conference best of 3:17.17, set last season by UA at the MAC Championships.

Zips freshman Kamryn Goodrick scored a 270.65 in the 1-meter dive, good for fifth place.

Junior Jessica Bonezzi swam a personal-best 17:00.00, topping her previous top time by seven seconds and eighth-best all time at UA, in the 1,650 freestyle to start the day.
