Biondo, a sophomore, rolled a perfect 300 game last Friday to help Woodridge top Coventry 2,826 to 2,294 at Legend Lanes in Cuyahoga Falls. He finished with a 546 series as Woodridge improved to 16-0 against Portage Trail Conference opponents.
McKee, a sophomore, helped Medina (18-0, 12-0 Greater Cleveland Conference) win 70-63 in overtime over host Euclid last Saturday and 63-14 over Elyria on Tuesday at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. She scored a career-high 25 points and had nine rebounds and three blocks against Euclid, and then scored 13 points versus Elyria.
Phillips, a junior, had 20 points, eight rebounds and six steals in a 60-40 win over Coventry last Monday at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. She then scored a career-high 29 points and had 10 rebounds, four steals and three assists in a 68-58 loss to Ravenna.
Shifferly, a senior, scored 25 points to lead the Magics to a 66-58 win over host Copley last Friday. She also had seven rebounds and five assists in the victory.
Sziva, a junior, set a Field girls basketball single-game scoring record with 41 points last Wednesday as the host Falcons rolled to a 77-42 win over Coventry. Sziva made 10 2-point field goals, four 3-pointers and nine free throws as Field improved to 11-5.
