Highland 72

The Magics outscored host Highland 27-18 in the fourth quarter en route to a Suburban League American Conference victory. Jordan Soyars and Jamair Blackmon each made 10 field goals and keyed the Magics (9-11, 5-7) at the free-throw line.

Soyars scored 29 points, nine of them on free throws. Blackmon had four 3-pointers and five free throws and scored 26 points. As a team, Barberton was just 17-of-30 from the foul line.

Highland (10-12, 6-6) got 27 points from Bryce Profitt and 15 more from Alex Jaworski.

 

Hudson 53,

Wadsworth 34

The Explorers finished with a 7-7 Suburban League National Conference record with a win at home over the Grizzlies. William Wallace led all scorers with 22 points and Jack Burdett added 10 points for Hudson (14-8 overall). 

 

Twinsburg 69,

Nordonia 54

Ralph Campbell scored 19 points and Kenneth McElrath added 15 to lead Twinsburg to a Suburban League National Conference victory.

 

Mogadore 70,

Lake Center Christian 58

Lukas Swartz led all scorers with 26 points and the Wildcats posted a 12-point Portage Trail Conference win. Swartz made four 3-pointers and was 4-for-4 from the foul line. Connor Kerr chipped in 19 points for Mogadore (14-6, 9-3).

Adam Nowak scored 18 points to lead the Tigers (9-13, 6-6).

 

Firestone 65,

Norton 62

Lafette Johnson scored 22 points to lead the Falcons (8-13) to a nonleague win at home.

 

Lake 56,

Youngstown East 47

Nick Mazzocca and Jakob Maranville combined for 29 points and the Blue Streaks (15-7) won a nonleague game in Youngstown. Mazzocca finished with 17 points and Maranville scored 12.
