The University of Akron softball team lost two games on the first day of the Orange and Black Tournament in Macon, Ga.

A soft fly ball to shallow left field fell in for the game-winning hit for the Wolfpack in the 11th inning in Conway, S.C.
KSU (0-4) scored both its runs in the third inning and never got it going after that.
The Wolfpack (5-0) scored single runs in the sixth and eighth innings to force extra innings before Patrick Bailey's heroics in the 11th.
Michael Turner and Pavin Parks each drove in a run for KSU.
