The Indians won both of their split-squad games in Cactus League play on Wednesday, defeating the Seattle Mariners 6-5 and the Milwaukee Brewers 6-1.

Against the Mariners, utility infielder Max Moroff launched a three-run home run in the seventh inning, his first homer of the spring. Outfielders Oscar Mercado and Jordan Luplow each had an RBI triple.

Adam Plutko started for the second time this spring and was roughed up for five runs on six hits in his two innings of work. Relievers Tyler Olson and Neil Ramirez each followed with a scoreless inning.

Shane Bieber started against the Brewers in Maryvale, Ariz., delivering two 1-2-3 innings in his 2019 Cactus League debut.

Offensively, third baseman Mark Mathias and catcher Li-Jen Chu belted two home runs each, and first baseman/outfielder Jake Bauers hit his first homer of the spring.
