The Indians’ bats were quiet against a familiar face in a 2-0 loss to the San Francisco Giants in Cactus League play on Friday.

Facing former Indians prospect Drew Pomeranz, the Indians mustered just one hit in four innings. Carlos Santana ended the day as the lone Indians hitter with a multi-hit game, going 2-for-3 to raise his spring average to .409.

Jefry Rodriguez, getting the start, allowed one run on one hit in two innings of work. Cody Anderson struck out three in two hitless innings. Brad Hand, Alex Wilson, Neil Ramirez and Dan Otero worked scoreless innings.
