Ellet 15, East 0 (5)

The Orangemen took advantage of walks and miscues as they rolled to a mercy-rule win in five innings.

Ellet (3-0, 3-0 City Series) managed to score 15 runs on just six hits, taking advantage of the four errors East committed in the field.

Sydnie Wolf started for Ellet and pitched four shutout innings to improve her record to 3-0. She gave up one hit.

BASEBALL

Northwest 3, Manchester 2 (8)

After failing to score in the first six innings and digging a 2-0 hole entering their last at-bat, the Indians scored two runs to force extra innings before walking off in the eighth.

Jackson Ogozalek pitched all eight innings for Northwest to earn the win. He allowed two runs on eight hits but walked none and struck out three to limit the damage and keep the Indians in it.

Ogozalek helped his cause at the plate with a run scored and an RBI.
