Stow 10, North Royalton 5

It took five innings, but Bulldogs hitters got hot and put together two big innings to put away the host Bears to secure a Suburban League win Wednesday.

Stow (4-2, 1-0) scored four runs in both the fifth and sixth innings to pull away after a 2-2 tie entering the fifth.

Aidan Vober scored three runs and drove in one for the Bulldogs. Colin Harris ripped a single and collected three RBI, and junior Zac Gandee doubled home a run and scored twice for Stow.

Brandon Bielak led North Royalton (3-2, 0-1) with three singles, one run scored and an RBI.

Hudson 11, Brecksville 3

The Explorers jumped out to a quick 6-1 lead and cruised the rest of the way to remain unbeaten and collect their first conference win on the road.

Hudson (6-0, 1-0) scored two in the first before plating four runs in the second inning to gain some breathing room.

With the big lead, the Explorers sent six pitchers to the mound to put the game away. Sylvan Wiley was credited with his first win of the year, going four innings and giving up two runs on five hits.

Copley 8, Mogadore 3

Joe Reho scored three runs and Caleb Shovestull homered to help lift the Indians over the visiting Wildcats.

The two helped Copley race out to a 5-0 lead after three innings. Reho singled and doubled home a run before Shovestull launched a solo blast.
