Valdosta State cornerback Stephen Denmark traveled to Cleveland on Monday and will have a pre-draft visit with the Browns on Tuesday, a person familiar with the plans said.

Denmark began a transition from wide receiver to cornerback in the spring of 2018 and had 55 tackles, eight tackles for loss, one forced fumble, three interceptions and nine pass breakups last season as a senior. He's projected to become a late-round pick in the April 25-27 NFL Draft.

Dane Brugler, draft analyst for the Athletic, mocked Denmark to the Browns in the fifth round (No. 155 overall).

"Keep Denmark’s name on your radar on day three of the draft," Brugler wrote. "The receiver-turned-cornerback has only one season of experience at cornerback, but his tape shows impressive flashes and his athletic traits (4.46 40-yard dash, 43.5-inch vertical) at his size (6-2 1/2, 220 pounds) are enticing."

Denmark also had a private workout with the New Orleans Saints.
