The preseason tune-up for the most highly anticipated Browns season in decades will begin with a game at home against Washington.

On Tuesday, the Browns announced they will face the following opponents in the preseason:

1. Washington (Aug. 8-12)

2 at Indianapolis (Aug. 15-19)

3. at Tampa Bay (Aug. 22-26)

4. Detroit (Aug. 29-31)

The NFL announced there will be eight nationally televised preseason games, but the Browns won't be featured in any of them.

The Browns will hold joint practices with the Colts in Indiana for a few days before they face each other in the second exhibition game.

Specific dates and times for the preseason games will be announced by the Browns in the coming weeks.

The NFL is expected to release the regular-season schedule for all 32 teams sometime in the buildup to the April 25-27 draft.

The Browns will play the following teams in the regular season:

Home — Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams.

Away — Ravens, Bengals, Steelers, New York Jets, New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos.
