Curve 3,

RubberDucks 2 (12)

Bligh Madris singled in Bralin Jackson to lift the Altoona Curve over the visiting Akron RubberDucks in extra innings Thursday.

Jackson was placed on second base to start the 12th inning, moved to third on a groundout and scored on Madris' home-opening, game-winning hit.

The Curve (6-2) led 1-0 with a sixth-inning run, but the Ducks (1-7) tied it in the seventh when Tyler Krieger scored on a balk with Ka'ai Tom batting. Krieger opened the inning with a double, and tagged and went to third on Li-Jen Chu's flyout to right.

The Ducks then took a 2-1 lead in the 11th inning on a sacrifice fly by Andruw Monasterio, but an error by shortstop Alexis Pantoja allowed the tying run to score in the bottom of the inning.
