On senior day, reserve Hannah Vandiver got the start and proved key by delivering a clutch single in the seventh inning to send the game to extra innings in an eventual win for Springfield.

With Springfield (11-10, 7-6) trailing 5-4, Vandiver slapped a two-out single to score Ciera Odum, who singled earlier in the inning.

Hannah Blosser completed the comeback with a two-strike single to the gap in right-center to drive in senior catcher Saira Riddle for the walk-off win.
