RubberDucks 4,

SeaWolves 3 (11)

Jorma Rodriguez's single in the top of the 11th inning pushed the Ducks past the host Erie SeaWolves to snap a three-game skid and win for the just second time in May.

The RubberDucks (14-18) got on the board first with a two-run double by Daniel Johnson in the first inning to score Tyler Krieger and Alexis Pantoja. Strong pitching by the SeaWolves (15-13) then limited the Ducks for a while before Pantoja doubled home Krieger in the seventh inning.

After the SeaWolves answered to tie the score at 3-3, Nick Sandlin and Matt Whitehouse (2-1) combined for five innings of dominant relief for the Ducks, allowing just one hit and striking out eight.
