SeaWolves 13, RubberDucks 8

The Ducks stayed within striking distance until the Erie SeaWolves scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning off reliever Ben Krauth to put the game out of reach on Thursday.

Offense was not the problem as the visiting Ducks (14-19) ripped nine hits, including home runs by Daniel Johnson and Ernie Clement.

Once again, the Ducks struggled to move runners at key times, going just 2-for-9 with runners in scoring position and leaving 10 men on base.

Sam Hentges (1-5) took the loss, giving up seven runs in six innings with seven strikeouts.
