Cloverleaf 12, St. Vincent-St. Mary 11

The host Colts (19-8) held off a late Irish run in a regular-season game called after 5½ innings because of rain and darkness. St. V-M scored five runs in the top of the sixth to close the gap to a run but couldn't get over the hump.

Samantha Goode, who improved to 19-8 in the circle for Cloverleaf, had a double and two walks at the plate. Emily Whitehair paced the Colts with two doubles and four RBI.
