Daniel Johnson continued his hitting streak and accounted for half the Ducks runs as they won Thursday night for the fourth time in five games.
Johnson launched a solo homer in the sixth inning to extend his hitting streak to nine games and tie the score at 2-2.
The center fielder then tripled to start the eighth inning and came home on a sacrifice fly to left by Connor Marabell to put the Ducks (18-21) ahead for good.
Rob Kaminsky (1-1) got the win in relief, coming on in the sixth and throwing two shutout innings. Nick Sandlin followed with two more scoreless innings for his first save of the year.
