Kent State completed a three-game Mid-American Conference series sweep at Eastern Michigan with a 4-0 win to close the regular season.
It was the first shutout of the season for Kent State (30-22, 17-8) as starter Luke Albright (4-1), Max Rippl, John Schreiber and Chris Martin held the Eagles (11-43-1, 6-21) to just two hits and two walks.
