RubberDucks 2, Fisher Cats 1 (7)

Oscar Gonzalez hit an RBI single in the sixth inning to snap a 1-1 tie and give the RubberDucks an Eastern League victory over the Fisher Cats on Wednesday in Manchester, New Hampshire.

The game was called because of heavy rain with the Fisher Cats coming to bat in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Starter Sam Hentges (2-10) earned the win for the Ducks (52-63), allowing one run on four hits and two walks with seven strikeouts in six innings.

Alexis Pantoja hit a run-scoring single in the second inning to give the Ducks a 1-0 lead, but the Fisher Cats (50-64) tied the score with a run in the fourth off Hentges.

Alex Call had a double for the Ducks, and Nash Knight had two hits and scored the lone run for the Fisher Cats.
